Starting out in 1991 the AWS Partnership was founded with  a small practice opening in Blyth, Northumberland.

Tax partner, Ian Cooney began his journey in 1994 becoming a director of the newly formed AWS Accountancy Limited.

​

In 2004, AWS's second branch opened in Newcastle after acquiring two small firms in the area. AWS's employee number increased along with the amount of clients showing that the once small accountancy firm was booming and on route to further success.

In 2007 it became clear that larger premises were required. The decision was made to merge both offices in the central location of Cramlington. AWS was the first business to move into Northumberland Business Park, located just off the Moor Farm roundabout.

AWS's third director Leanne Carr was appointed in 2013 after working for AWS for 16 years.

​

Here in 2023, AWS are in their 33rd year of practice with 2 directors and 10 employees. A well established, friendly accountancy firm dedicated to help clients achieve the most from their businesses.

The company now has a wide range of clients working in many sectors, operating at all sizes, not just the North East England but as far as the Middle East.

Services offered include: business start up, business support, accountancy, payroll bookkeeping and business tax.
